The Wayside Tales project aims to capture the memories of a small rural community and preserve them in folk song. Driven by a keen interest in family and local history, I discovered a handful of local tales and from them composed six original tracks which form the Wayside Tales EP. The songs were performed back to the community which inspired the project, at a concert held on the 6th April 2019.
